What do unions have against us. Last year the French railway workers went on strike during our vacation. Fortunately they settled on the day we left Nice to travel to Paris. On the day that we were scheduled to fly from Paris to home, the air traffic controllers went on strike. We got lucky as our plane was one of the select few to leave.
Now the Lufthansa pilots are on strike. We've booked our flight to Paris through the German airline. This is a joint flight with Air Canada and a couple of web sites indicate that it is run by Air Canada, so we may have dodged a bullet.
